Commuter bikes for those exhausted of Hybrids

Ask somebody in, say, Utrecht about the possibility of a "commuter bike, " and they'll give you an astounded look. In such more cultivated cycling societies, a bicycle is a bicycle, and is, for the most part, profound, upright, bomb-verification and trimmed with dynamo lights, wicker container, and tyke seats. In the UK it can be an alternate issue. Here, with cyclists as a rule obliged to impart the street to engine activity, many lean toward a more nippy machine for going to and from the workplace, frequently the universal hybrid , here and there even a street bicycle. I every so often attempt my six-mile drive on a durable Dutch-made Gazelle bicycle. It's to a great extent fine. However, I do here and there think my moderately calm pace on a machine weighing very nearly 20kg can make drivers somewhat restless, more inclined to cut crosswise over me or attempt a nearby overwhelm. This happens less regularly in case I'm on a lighter, more agile bicycle...
